Station Notes:
THE IN-WATER EQUIPMENT ON THE NISQUALLY RIVER STREAM GAGE WAS DAMAGED DURING THE NOVEMBER 11-12 ATMOSPHERIC RIVER EVENT. We will know more about restoring service when the flows go down.
► Water Pressure, Temperature and Conductivity meter replaced on 07/03/2019. First Data point is 15:45 PDT (22:45 GMT) on 07/03/2019. Note that conductivity measurements prior to this point are suspect.
► 10-hour fuel temperature and fuel moisture sensor added to this station on 09/08/2020 at 3:15 PM local time (2020-09-08 22:15:00 GMT). Please give this sensor several days to stabilize to prevailing environmental conditions before using its data.
► Data acquired by all stations during the Government Shutdown from December 22, 2018 to January 26, 2018 may not be correct and should be considered provisional data until later analyzed by staff.
► The in-water components of this stream gage have changed locations, effective 07/20/2018 at 14:00:00. The site is back to real-time status effective 07/26/2018 14:15:00. There is a brief outage between 11:15 AM - 2:15 PM while equipment was being moved. Please note that data between Early 2018 to July 20 is suspect.
► Turbidity meter back in service and correctly reading stream turbidity, effective 07/26/2018 at 14:15:00.
► Electrical Conductivity Meter back in service as of 8/2/2018 at 11:00 AM
► The rain gage is unheated and will not accurately record in periods of ice or snow fall.
► This site records river stage only (not discharge).
► This station may experience problems during and after storm events due to extreme sediment load. Please use the gage height and discharge data with caution during these periods.
